Surprising Performance of Silent Hill 2 Remake on Xbox Series X/S

Enhanced Frame Rates on Xbox Series X/S in Silent Hill 2 Remake vs. PS5 and PS5 Pro's Persisting Issues

Based on a comparison of Quality and Performance modes, the Series X delivers a more stable frame rate than the PS5, even gaining up to 10 fps in certain scenes, offsetting the PS5's slightly higher average resolution. The Series S runs at 30 fps, with image quality comparable to the Performance modes on the more powerful consoles. However, the PS5 Pro, despite improved reflections and lighting, still suffers from PSSR artifacts and image reconstruction errors, indicating that increased processing power alone hasn't eliminated these flaws.
