Action RPG ‘Where Winds Meet’ Debuts in West Today – Explore China’s Five Dynasties & Ten Kingdoms Era on PS5 and PC

Today marks the Western release of Where Winds Meet, one year after its debut in China. Everstone Studio developed this action RPG, which is set in China’s Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period and casts players as a wandering knight facing other fighters and deities. Players can wield classic weapons like swords and lances, as well as unique gear such as umbrellas, fans, ropes, and Shen Biao projectiles, which allow them to target enemy weak points. Each weapon offers a distinct set of moves that can be combined with 23 mystical techniques and 12 martial arts styles for dynamic combat. The game’s animations were directed by Hong Kong action film choreographer Stephen Tung Wai, ensuring every move is visually stunning, precise, and expertly executed. The expansive world is rich with detail, starting in Qinghe, a tranquil yet enigmatic region filled with hidden caves and eerie ruins. As players explore, they can collect up to 1,200 historical relics, blending action with cultural discovery. From Qinghe, the journey continues to the vibrant city of Kaifeng, where countless NPCs follow their daily routines. Players can choose to duel or befriend these characters, influencing how they respond.
