As a Major Third-Party Publisher, Xbox Should Support Nintendo Switch 2

Xbox's Limited Nintendo Switch 2 Presence Surprises Fils-Aimé, Calling for More Collaboration in Changing Landscape

Reggie Fils-Aimé, former president of Nintendo of America, was surprised by the limited number of Xbox games for the Nintendo Switch 2, which launched on June 25. So far, Xbox has released only Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 and announced Indiana Jones and The Great Circle for the platform. In a discussion with The Game Business, Fils-Aimé said he "expected to see more Xbox games on the Switch 2," especially considering Microsoft's move to focus on publishing rather than directly competing with PlayStation. He suggested that Microsoft should support Sony and find opportunities to release more games on Nintendo consoles, given the changing competitive landscape. Fils-Aimé also stated that Nintendo doesn't see itself as a rival to PlayStation, citing their different approaches in the gaming industry.
