Assassin's Creed Shadows Set for Abundant Free Additions, Here Are the Details

Expanded Content Awaits in Assassin's Creed Shadows on Nintendo Switch 2 & More Updates from Ubisoft Quebec

Assassin's Creed Shadows continues to receive updates from Ubisoft Quebec, even after the release of Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut. The recent Hunt on Awaji expansion is just one example, with more content planned. The game is also scheduled for release on Nintendo Switch 2 on December 2.

Ubisoft previewed the autumn roadmap for Assassin's Creed Shadows, which includes two major updates. The first update, launching tomorrow, focuses on parkour enhancements. According to Simon, Associate Game Director, a new Advanced Free Running option will allow players to perform side or reverse jumps from any height, along with finer control over side jumps. This addition aims to give players more freedom of expression within the game. Advanced Free Running mode will be available starting October 28.

Desynchronized Castles Arrive in Assassin's Creed Shadows - Seasonal Anomaly-filled Castle Challenges

This update also introduces a new Animus activity called Desynchronized Castles. The update corrupts previously completed castles, filling them with Animus anomalies, including samurai daisho, and reward chests. Each season will feature five castles, each offering different rewards.

Novel Quest Arrives in Assassin's Creed Shadows: Enigmatic Discovery with Partnered Pursuits

A second free update, scheduled for November 25, will feature a new quest called An Enigmatic Discovery, which will have a lighter tone reminiscent of Odyssey. Players can expect to see the return of old enemies from Naoe's past seeking redemption. As part of this quest, Naoe and Yasuke must work together to welcome two difficult characters into the Kakushiba Ikki. Naoe will master Yasuke's warrior kick, while Yasuke learns stealth takedown techniques.

Assassin's Creed Shadows Unveils Second Collaboration - Simon's Significant Secret Revealed in November Update

Ubisoft announced that the November 25 update will also launch the second special collaboration for Assassin's Creed Shadows. While details remain undisclosed, Simon hinted at something significant, with more information to be revealed in the coming weeks.
