Halo Expands to PlayStation: Halo: Campaign Evolved Coming in 2026 on Multiple Platforms

Xbox's flagship franchise, Halo, is coming to PlayStation with Halo: Campaign Evolved, a remake set to release on PlayStation 5. The announcement signals a new multiplatform direction for the series. Halo Studios Community Director Brian Jarrard stated, "It's huge. We’ve been waiting for this, and we're so excited to welcome more players into our beloved franchise." Halo: Campaign Evolved, the first title in the series built using Unreal Engine 5, marks the beginning of a new chapter for the franchise under Halo Studios (formerly 343 Industries). The studio has several projects in development, including a potential main title and a multiplayer-focused game. The absence of a competitive multiplayer mode in Campaign Evolved may be due to this focus on developing a separate multiplayer title. Scheduled for release in 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, Halo: Campaign Evolved will bring the Halo experience to a broader audience.
