Black Ops 7 Trailer Laughs into the Spotlight with Celebrity-Fueled Action
The new trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 features a host of celebrities. It opens with Jake Paul, who Peter Stormare, as the Replacer, quickly dispatches into space. The trailer culminates with Terry Crews humorously taking over the role. Battlefield 6 recently mocked the trend of celebrity-filled games. Shortly after, this Black Ops 7 trailer revealed Activision's embrace of a playful approach, blending humor, action, and pop culture. While it remains unknown if Jake Paul will be a playable character, his inclusion indicates that the game aims to be a wild ride, rather than just another shooter. In contrast to Battlefield's pursuit of realism, Call of Duty seems to be prioritizing over-the-top entertainment. If the trailer is any indication, Black Ops 7 promises plenty of action and amusement.
