Battlefield 6 Among Top Sellers in Japan

Battlefield 6 Secures Top Debut on PS5 Despite Competition from Mario Kart World and Switch 2

From October 6 to 12, Japanese gamers eagerly awaited the release of Battlefield 6. However, the top sales position for the week was taken by Mario Kart World. On the PlayStation 5, Battlefield 6 sold over 23,000 units. While Little Nightmares 3 debuted with a higher total of over 31,000 units, Battlefield 6 secured the spot as the best-selling debut on PS5 when individual versions were counted separately. In console hardware sales for the same week, the Switch 2 significantly outperformed its competitors, moving over 46,000 units. This surpassed the Switch 1's 23,000 units and the PlayStation 5's nearly 15,000 units.
