Struggling Sales of Firebreak Result in Significant Loss for Remedy Entertainment

Remedy Entertainment has reported that sales of FBC: Firebreak were disappointing, falling short of the company's internal targets. This performance resulted in a €14.9 million loss, an amount nearly equivalent to the game's total development and launch costs. Initially, Remedy had anticipated generating higher revenue this year, but this outcome now indicates a potential operating loss for the company. While Remedy remains committed to supporting Firebreak for the time being, the company is considering a reduction in future investments.
