Dragon Ball Z Sparking Zero: Gyro Controls of Switch 2 Highlighted in a Lighthearted Japanese Ad

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero's Gyro Controls Spotlighted in New Japanese Ads for Nintendo Switch 2 & Beyond

As Dragon Ball Sparking Zero approaches its one-year mark, Bandai Namco is actively preparing new content and features for the game. It launches on November 14th, coming to both the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. In Japan, Bandai Namco released a significant number of lifestyle advertisements for the game online. These advertisements highlight gyroscope controls, showcasing a Japanese family playing Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, developed by Spike Chunsoft, and specifically demonstrating the Switch 2's gyro capabilities. The studio also plans to release additional content as early as 2026. The game's season pass, priced at $35, will include downloadable content (DLC) featuring a variety of Dragon Ball characters, such as Daimao. With this planned content, the total roster will expand to 208 playable characters. Bandai Namco is currently developing further character additions, and the roster is expected to grow even more in the coming months. Development is already underway for subsequent downloadable content, which will introduce new characters and additional features. This consistent support and regular updates position Dragon Ball Sparking Zero as one of the franchise's most comprehensive titles, providing players with a vast selection of fighters for dynamic battles—a factor that has already contributed to its high acclaim.
