Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 May Come to PS5 in November

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Possibly Coming to PlayStation 5 in November - Multiplatform Release Imminent?

Polish site PPE.pl reports that Microsoft Flight Simulator is expected to launch on PlayStation 5 this November. The console version will reportedly be available physically and digitally. This potential launch aligns with Microsoft's recent strategy of bringing Xbox exclusives to other platforms. Titles such as Sea of Thieves, Grounded, and Forza Horizon 5 have recently launched on PlayStation 5, with Forza Horizon 5 becoming the console's top seller in 2025. Flight Simulator is reportedly next on Microsoft's list for a multiplatform release this year. If confirmed, this would mark the first time the Flight Simulator series has appeared on a PlayStation console. The latest edition of the game, which launched in November 2024 for PC and Xbox Series X|S, introduced a new career mode, fresh missions, and a significant reduction in game size thanks to cloud streaming capabilities. An official announcement regarding the PlayStation 5 release could be made at Tokyo Game Show 2025, which runs from September 25-28. Fans will likely await further details and official confirmation from Microsoft.
