This follows Sports Interactive's decision to cancel Football Manager 25 due to unspecified delays, allowing the development team to enhance FM26 using the Unity graphics engine. The game incorporates women's leagues from around the world, including England's WSL, America's NWSL, Germany's Frauen-Bundesliga, and Japan's WE League, allowing players to focus their managerial career on women's football, men's football, or manage both simultaneously.
