Nintendo Direct Scheduled for Friday, Lasting 40 Minutes

Nintendo Direct Showcases 40th Super Mario Bros. Anniversary and Metroid Prime 4 Updates on September 12

Nintendo will host a new Nintendo Direct this Friday, September 12. The broadcast starts at 2 PM in Portugal (10 AM in Brazil) and will last approximately an hour. It will feature significant announcements for both the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 consoles. The event's timing coincides with the 40th anniversary of Super Mario Bros., which originally launched on September 13, 1985. Nintendo plans to make special announcements to commemorate this milestone. Fans greatly anticipate Metroid Prime 4: Beyond following its gameplay reveal last June, and are eagerly awaiting its release date. Viewers can watch the Direct on Nintendo's official YouTube channel or through its mobile application, Nintendo Today. The app, launched in March, provides the latest news, events, and live streams.
