Warhammer Space Marine 2: Anniversary Update - New Modes, Enemies, Weapons, and Customization

Last year, Warhammer Space Marine 2 was released on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. To commemorate its anniversary, Saber Interactive has launched a significant free update—the largest since the game's release. This update introduces new game modes, missions, maps, enemies, weapons, and expanded customization options. For PvE players, the update brings the Operation Vortex mode, featuring the Vortex Mutalith boss. PvE enthusiasts can also engage with "Strategies," a new system offering daily and weekly challenges with various modifiers to enhance replayability. For PvP players, Saber Interactive introduces the Bridge arena on Avarax, alongside the Metabrutus Assault mode, which allows players to control Metabrutus. The update also includes three new weapons: the Pyro-Flamethrower, Pyrocannon, and Energy Hammer, along with variants such as the Xenophase Blade and Melta Combination. New enemies arrive in the form of the Majoris Chaos Spawn, available in three distinct forms. Furthermore, the update offers six new Chaos Warrior champion skins and comprehensive customization options for all classes.

Warhammer Space Marine 2: Season Pass 2 Launch - Black Templars & Imperial Fists Packs Unveiled

This update also marks the launch of Season Pass 2, starting with two distinct packs. The Black Templars Champion Pack provides a new Champion skin for the Wall class and an exclusive Energy Sword. The Imperial Fists Cosmetic Pack includes over 40 cosmetics and heraldic emblems that pay tribute to the Imperial Fists' Successor Chapters. These extensive additions reaffirm Warhammer Space Marine 2's commitment to providing fresh content and continued replayability for its player base a year after its initial launch.
