Bloober Team Plans More Games on Switch 2 Following Cronos: The New Dawn

Bloober Team Expands Horror Games on Nintendo Switch 2 Beyond Cronos and Silent Hill 2

Bloober Team is developing horror titles for the Nintendo Switch 2, with plans extending beyond Cronos: The New Dawn. Bloober CEO Piotr Babieno shared these plans with Game Business, expressing his strong affinity for Nintendo and the significant potential he sees for horror games on the platform. “I grew up with Nintendo consoles,” Babieno stated. “The Nintendo GameCube featured classics like Eternal Darkness, Resident Evil 0, and Resident Evil 4. It was a great time to be a Nintendo fan.” While Babieno remained tight-lipped about specific titles from Bloober Team's library destined for the Switch 2, the Silent Hill 2 remake is a strong candidate. Its exclusivity on PlayStation 5 is guaranteed for one year, concluding on October 8, 2025, opening the door for its potential release on other platforms. Meanwhile, Cronos: The New Dawn is set to launch on September 5 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and macOS.
