Speaking at Unreal Fest in Korea, Sweeney explained that many studios prioritize building games for top-tier hardware, delaying optimization for less powerful devices. Sweeney also noted that game complexity has grown significantly over the past decade, making it difficult to resolve issues solely at the engine level; he stressed that both engine creators and game teams must collaborate.
