Square Enix Unveils Action RPG 'Elliot's Millennium Journey', Featuring Co-op and Distinct Weapon Types on Nintendo Switch 2 (2026)
Square Enix has announced The Adventures Of Elliot: The Millennium Tales, a new action RPG. The debut trailer for the title evokes the feel of Falcom's Ys series and features a charming HD2D aesthetic. The game stars Elliot, an adventurer who departs from the kingdom of Huther to explore a mysterious set of ruins, accompanied by his fairy companion, Faie. Players can control Elliot and Faie individually or team up in a two-player co-op mode. The trailer also reveals that Elliot can wield seven distinct weapon types, each possessing unique abilities and effects. These weapons can be enhanced using Magicite crystals discovered throughout his journey. The Adventures Of Elliot: The Millennium Tales is slated for release on the Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026. A free demo is available today, and Square Enix plans to collect public feedback from it to aid in the game's development.
