Ninja Gaiden Ragebound: A Retro Revival Across Platforms

This summer features two eagerly-anticipated ninja titles: Shinobi: Art of Vengeance and Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound. While Sega's Shinobi: Art of Vengeance is set for an August release, Koei Tecmo's Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, developed by Spanish studio The Game Kitchen, will launch earlier, on July 31st. Dotemu recruited the producer behind Blasphemous to develop this new Ninja Gaiden installment, which aims to evoke the 90s classics. Players can anticipate a retro aesthetic, challenging gameplay, and high difficulty levels, all designed to keep them engaged. Ahead of Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound's release, Dotemu shared additional details regarding its performance across platforms. On Nintendo Switch, the game will run at 30 frames per second. While there will be no native version for the rumored Nintendo Switch 2, the game will function as an enhanced version of the original Switch release. For PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox Series consoles, Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound will offer a smoother experience at 60 frames per second, delivering enhanced fluidity and control response ideal for its action-packed gameplay.
