FromSoftware and Bandai Namco have postponed the release of the Elden Ring: Nightfall update. The new launch is scheduled for July 31st, at 9 AM Portugal Continental (5 AM Brasilia). This decision was made out of respect for those affected by the tsunami warnings in Japan, which were triggered by an 8.8 magnitude earthquake in Russia's Kamchatka Peninsula. The tsunami warnings led to evacuation orders for over 1.9 million people in countries including Japan, Indonesia, Peru, and Hawaii. While waves over one meter were observed on the Japanese coast, no worst-case scenarios unfolded, and authorities in various cities have since lowered their risk advisories.
