State of Decay 3 and Gears E-Day May Be Next for PS5

PlayStation 5 Rumored to Expand Gears of War and State of Decay Series?

Rumors suggest that State of Decay 3 and Gears of War: Eday may be heading to PlayStation 5, in addition to their expected releases on Xbox Series X|S and PC. The speculation surrounding Gears of War: Eday is particularly strong, fueled by the confirmation of Gears of War: Reloaded for PlayStation 5. This suggests other titles in the franchise could also become multiplatform. Conversely, the potential PlayStation release of State of Decay 3 is based solely on indirect references found in the resumes of Undead Labs employees. Undead Labs has made no official announcements regarding its development or platform availability. Adding to the uncertainty, the last State of Decay title was released seven years ago. While trailers for State of Decay 3 have been shown since, Microsoft and Undead Labs have not provided a release date or confirmation of the project's active status. Neither Microsoft nor the respective studios have officially confirmed any multiplatform expansion for these titles.
