Xbox Game Pass Adds a Massive and Anticipated New Game

July Sparks on Xbox Game Pass with Wuchang Fallen Feathers and Grounded 2 Debut

Xbox Game Pass concludes July 2025 with significant additions, including early access to Obsidian Entertainment's Grounded 2 and the Day One launch of Wuchang Fallen Feathers. While details for August 2025 remain undisclosed, July has delivered a strong lineup. Beyond these headlining titles, July proved to be a game-packed month for Xbox Game Pass. The service welcomed Rise of the Tomb Raider, two Mana games, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4, RoboCop: Rogue City, and Abiotic Factor. The highly anticipated Soulslike game, Wuchang Fallen Feathers, developed by Leenzee, launched Day One on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and directly onto Xbox Game Pass. Critics have largely responded positively, with the game holding an average rating of 75 on Metacritic and OpenCritic. Reviewers have highlighted its compelling Chinese folklore-inspired universe and challenging combat. However, the PC version has faced significant performance and optimization issues on Steam, which have drawn user backlash. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC subscribers can play Wuchang Fallen Feathers on Xbox Series and PC. Also released in July, Grounded 2 entered Early Access on July 29th, providing subscribers with an early look at Obsidian Entertainment's latest.
