New Game Plus, DLC, and More Updates for Assassin's Creed Shadows

Assassin's Creed Shadows has achieved a significant milestone, reaching over 5 million players, a figure that includes both game purchasers and Ubisoft+ subscribers. Following this success, Ubisoft has shared its upcoming content roadmap, which includes the Awaji Claws DLC slated for September 16. Kicking off the updates, New Game Plus mode arrives on July 29. This mode allows players to restart the story while retaining their level, skills, and base progression. Players can also opt to bypass the "endless war" prologue, beginning directly from the hideout acquisition. The level cap expands to 80, additional passive skills are introduced, and hideout improvements become accessible. Completing New Game Plus will yield in-game rewards such as cosmetic items or fresh weaponry. An update focused on quality of life features is scheduled for early September. This patch will allow players to adjust the in-game clock, unveil all hidden map locations, and boost frame rates during PC cutscenes.

The Claws of Awaji Expansion Unveils New Journey for Assassin's Creed Shadows Fans on September 16

These enhancements precede the official launch of The Claws of Awaji expansion on September 16. In this expansion, Naoe and Yasuke will explore an unexplored island fraught with traps, encountering a distinct faction that pursues them in the local woods. Players can also acquire various armor sets, legendary weapons, and Naoe's fourth weapon type, the bo staff. These planned releases offer new ways for Assassin's Creed Shadows fans to continue their journey.
