Limited-Edition PlayStation 5’s – Ghost of Yotei Gold & Black Inspired by Kintsugi and Sumie Art

Sony recently unveiled two limited-edition PlayStation 5 consoles and accessories, the “Ghost of Yotei Gold Limited Edition” and “Ghost of Yotei Black Limited Edition.” These bundles are inspired by traditional Japanese art and are dedicated to the Ghost of Tsushima universe, specifically its upcoming sequel, also referred to as Ghost of Yotei. The “Ghost of Yotei Gold Limited Edition” features a design inspired by the Kintsugi technique, symbolizing themes of reconstruction and overcoming. The “Ghost of Yotei Black Limited Edition” channels Sumie, a traditional Japanese ink painting style characterized by black ink paintings representing elements of the landscape and the protagonist’s inner conflict through expressive brushstrokes. Both editions visually capture the aesthetic of the fictional world of Ezo, inspired by Japan’s real-life Hokkaido region, aiming to reflect protagonist Atsu’s journey. Both console designs feature hand-drawn icons, a kintsugi-style effect, and Sumie brushstrokes. Each console bundle includes a matching DualSense Wireless Controller with Atsu’s portrait on the touchpad, along with details like the creator’s seal engraved on the system’s back and the controller. Limited-Edition PS5 Gold & Black Ghost of Yotei Bundles Launch Oct 2 – Worldwide Availability

The Ghost of Yotei Gold Limited Edition PS5 Console Bundle will be available worldwide through PlayStation.com and select retailers. Similarly, the DualSense Wireless Controller – Ghost of Yotei Gold Limited Edition will be available for individual purchase worldwide at PlayStation.com and select retailers. For customers in Japan, the Ghost of Yotei Black Limited Edition PS5 Console Bundle will be exclusive to PlayStation.com. The DualSense Wireless Controller – Ghost of Yotei Black Limited Edition will also be available for individual purchase at select Japanese retailers. For current PS5 owners, personalized console covers featuring the gold design will be available for both the PlayStation 5 Slim and PlayStation 5 Pro models. These covers can be purchased in limited quantities through the official PlayStation Store and select retailers. Separate console covers showcasing these stunning designs will also be available, allowing owners to customize their existing consoles. Release and Pricing: These limited-edition consoles launch on October 2. Pre-order details will be announced at a later date and will be available through PlayStation Direct in certain regions. While an official price has not yet been announced, the consoles are anticipated to be priced around $600.
