Helldivers 2 Announced for Xbox Series X|S

This year’s blockbuster PlayStation 5 title, Helldivers 2, is set to launch on Xbox Series X|S in August 2025. Creative Director Johan Pilestedt and Game Director Mikael Eriksson announced this news during a special broadcast on Thursday. Eriksson stated, “We know players have been asking for this for some time, and we’re very excited to bring Helldivers 2 to a wider audience.” Helldivers 2 will also support cross-play, allowing Xbox, PlayStation, and PC users to team up seamlessly. The Xbox version is being developed by Nixxes, a Sony-owned studio renowned for porting PlayStation titles to PC. Helldivers 2 is scheduled to launch on Xbox Series X|S on August 26, 2025, coincidentally the same day Gears of War: Reloaded is released.
