Some exciting news for all you Hellblade fans! After loads of rumors, we finally have the official drop date for Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 on the PS5. Mark your calendars for August 12th, that’s when it hits Sony’s console. But here’s the twist – it ain’t just the regular version hitting stores in ’24, oh no! This one’s an enhanced edition with extra goodies not found in the original game. One such treat is a “performance mode.” While the first game was stuck at 30fps for a more cinematic feel, this upgrade will offer a performance mode that drops graphics to ensure a silky-smooth 60fps. Another cool addition is the “Dark Rot Mode,” inspired by the first game’s “life” mechanic. Each flub by the protagonist causes her body to spread the “dark rot” disease, and once it hits her head – that’s game over. This edition also boasts an improved photo mode with more options and video recording capabilities, plus four hours of behind-the-scenes commentary on the game’s creation. And here’s the best part – this enhanced version of Hellblade 2 won’t be exclusive to the PS5. On August 12th, Xbox Series and PC gamers who already own the game can upgrade for free to access all the improvements. PC owners will also score a new “Very High” graphics mode for even better visuals on advanced configurations. Enjoy!
