Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive have announced the release of the new PvE “Siege” game mode for Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine 2. This mode will be available free of charge starting June 26, 2025, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store). The announcement was made at the Warhammer Skulls Festival, accompanied by a first video and confirmation of two cosmetic DLCs that are included in the Season Pass. The “Siege” mode is a cooperative survival experience for three players, where Space Marines must defend an Imperial fortress on the planet Kadaku against successive waves of enemies from the Tyranids and Thousand Sons factions, with increasing difficulty across each wave.
Before its official launch, “Siège” will be available through early access via a public test server (PTS) on Steam beginning June 4th. This phase will allow the community to explore the mode and assist with balancing it. Saber Interactive has announced that the “Siège” update will include two cosmetic DLCs:
White Scars Chapter Pack: Includes a Champion skin for the Assault class, three weapon skins (Occulus Bolter Carbine, Stalker Bolter Rifle, Combat Knife), as well as heraldic elements inspired by the Successor Chapters of the White Scars.
Blood Angels Cosmetic Pack: Adds new armor pieces usable across all classes, along with symbols specific to the Successor Chapters of the Blood Angels.
