April 24th and 25th, 2025, feature a lineup of video game releases including Clair Obscur Expeditions 33, Fatal Fury City of the Wolves, La Quimera, Forza Horizon 5 on PS5, Maliki Poison of The Past, and the remake of L’Amerzone. Additionally, Days Gone Remastered for PS5 is scheduled to launch on the same date. Sony Interactive Entertainment has released a new trailer showcasing one of its new features: “Horde Assault” mode. This mode involves surviving as long as possible against successive waves of Freakers in enclosed arenas. The gameplay includes an increasing difficulty level where enemies become faster, more numerous, and more aggressive with each wave. Players must manage limited starting equipment, find resources within the arena, set traps, and optimize their movements to withstand increasingly overwhelming hordes.
We also learn that progression is achieved through a scoring system that rewards performance based on several criteria: the number of enemies eliminated, efficiency, survival duration, etc. These points allow players to unlock additional characters, cosmetic elements (badges), and new injectors offering temporary bonuses in subsequent games. An online ranking system is also included, enabling players to compare their skills with those of other players globally. Days Gone Remastered will be available on PS5 on April 25, 2025.
