MindsEyes, Leslie Benzies’ first game since leaving Rockstar Games (where he was formerly the head of Rockstar North and producer of all previous GTA titles), will be released on June 10, 2025, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. The information is now official, and pre-orders are already open, despite very few gameplay images having been shown. Based on what has been revealed, it appears to be a futuristic take on the GTA formula, with players piloting vehicles in an open-world city, engaging in shootouts with antagonists, and even hacking modules, all set in a near-future where technology is dominant. Additionally, Redrock City, the game’s setting, is populated by domestic robots handling most manual tasks, while surveillance devices are connected through an algorithm.
MindsEye will not be released on the Everywhere social platform that Leslie Benzies’ studio, Build a Rocket Boy, initially planned for, as IO Interactive has taken over publishing. For those interested, pre-orders are now open and include access to bonuses such as a mission in ARCADIA, Build A Rocket Boy’s in-house content creation and distribution tool. This tool enables rapid production of AAA content, offering new gaming experiences regularly. Pre-orders for the physical version include an upgrade to the Deluxe Edition, which features: the “Premium Pass,” the “Deluxe” weapon Thorn & Kepler Yellowjacket, skins “Future” Jacob Vest, “Future” DC2 Companion Drone, “Future” Silva Sedan Vehicle, and the exclusive “Stealth” Silva Sedan Vehicle skin for the physical edition.
