Nintendo utilized its Nintendo Direct on March 27, 2025, to release a new video for Metroid Prime 4 Beyond, an episode that has faced numerous challenges. Announced in 2017 and completely rebooted in 2019, the game appears to be nearing completion, although once again, the release date was not disclosed. Instead, viewers can watch three minutes of gameplay revealing that Samus Aran has landed on a planet named Viewros, with a very dense tropical jungle atmosphere, where she must scan numerous elements to understand what transpired there. It is here that Samus Aran will acquire new psychic powers, enabling her to activate mechanisms, open doors, and alter the trajectory of her Delta Ray (Ok Cobra) solely through the power of her thoughts.
Why did Samus receive these powers? And what fate awaits her? The events spanning across space and time will create a new narrative for our protagonist, who will also be equipped with a new, particularly alluring armor.
