Among the many AAA reveals at the State of Play on February 12, 2025, one game stood out: Darwin’s Paradox. This is a platform and stealth game featuring an octopus named Darwin as its protagonist. Torn from its natural habitat, Darwin must navigate a dark and chaotic world with the singular goal of returning home. Published by Konami (making a strong comeback in the video game industry) and developed by the French studio ZDT Studio, Darwin’s Paradox offers custom-tailored gameplay. Our character will use its sucker-covered tentacles to bypass enemies, employ mollusk camouflage techniques to deceive foes, and utilize ink attacks among other yet-to-be-revealed features.
