The ants from Microids and Bernard Werber might not have been nominated for this year’s Game of the Year, but they are certainly one of our favorites for 2024. The game will receive significant ongoing support throughout next year, as the French publisher has just announced a roadmap that begins in spring 2025 and concludes by winter. This includes plans for new game modes, units, powers, unseen maps, and even additional factions, along with a photo mode to enhance the already intriguing content. Microids and Tower Five have stated that the game will also undergo optimization to improve its technical aspects, although it currently appears flawless since its release. Meanwhile, Microids has released a new trailer featuring major press quotes; PlayersForLife is naturally included among them.
