Present in Paris two months ago for the Paris Games Week, the Pearl Abyss studio continues its world tour to showcase Crimson Desert, their Action-RPG designed to highlight the South Korean studio’s capabilities. They are set to reveal a new boss, Hexe Marie, characterized by her dark and gothic appearance, featuring extensive fur and swarms of ravens surrounding her. This character was unveiled and made playable for the press at the G-Star event that took place a few weeks ago. It is clear that a boss does not necessarily have to be an enormous creature but can effectively take the form of a powerful woman. As usual, this provides insight into the various gameplay possibilities offered by this combat system, whether through Kliff’s sword strikes, his bow arrows, or his ability to leap into the air to evade these clay creatures that will make her task more challenging.
There is no release date announced yet for Crimson Desert, but it is expected to launch in 2025 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
