In just a few days, on November 23 to be precise, the World of Warcraft saga will celebrate its 20th anniversary, an extremely rare longevity in the video game industry that Blizzard has managed to maintain with a community that remains as loyal and engaged as ever. With the release in August of the latest expansion, The War Within, the publisher made available for sale a particularly anticipated collector’s edition, marking both the launch of this ‘add-on’ and the exceptional anniversary. As is often the case with such limited and highly sought-after products, it quickly went out of stock despite its price tag of 200€. A significant sum indeed, but not unjustified when compared to other collectors sold elsewhere at higher prices for lower quality content.
