Since its testing by Europe at gamescom last August, inZOI has become one of the most anticipated games, particularly among virtual life enthusiasts. Often referred to as the "Sims-killer," this title developed by Krafton was expected to launch with Early Access by the end of 2024; however, it appears that the teams require additional time to unlock early access. Players will be able to seriously embark on this new adventure under Unreal Engine 5 in March 2025. Epic Games' engine is indeed showcased by this title, whose ambitions are now considered ambitious. The game director, Hungjun "Kjun" Kim, has even penned a letter to all concerned parties.

Hello everyone,inZOI, developed by Krafton, has generated considerable anticipation since its gamescom demo last August and is often referred to as a potential "Sims-killer." Originally scheduled for Early Access by the end of 2024, the development team requires additional time and will now launch the game in March 2025. The game utilizes Epic Games' Unreal Engine 5, highlighting its ambitious scope. Game Director Hungjun "Kjun" Kim addressed players in a letter regarding these updates.

I am Kjun, producer and director of inZOI. Firstly, I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to the fans of inZOI from around the world. Your immense love and interest mean everything to us. I was particularly moved by the fantastic reception we received at Gamescom, and it was incredible to see you all creating such unique Zois during our "inZOI: Character Studio" demo session.

Initially, we were hesitant to introduce "Canvas" to the world, uncertain about the level of participation it would receive. However, the response was overwhelming, with a significant number of downloads. The engagement from the community around the game brought us great joy, and it was inspiring to see how deeply players connected with inZOI. Your comments and ideas have made us realize the responsibility we have to provide you with the most complete experience possible.

This message reflects our realization. After reviewing your comments on inZOI: Character Studio and analyzing extensive data from various game tests, we have decided to postpone the early access release of inZOI to March 28, 2025. We apologize for not being able to offer you the game earlier, but this decision reflects our commitment to providing inZOI with the best possible launch.

It is acknowledged that among primates, raising a human child to adulthood requires more time due to the need for humans to adapt to their constantly changing environment. This necessitates additional love and care to nurture a baby into maturity, as seen in our work on inZOI—a project we will support until its early access release scheduled for March 28, 2025. This date change reflects our commitment to building stronger foundations for inZOI so that we can embark on this journey in the best possible way.

Until the release date of March 28, 2025, we will continue to focus on refining all aspects that require special attention and aim to create a game that truly captures the essence of life simulations. Our goal is to provide an experience that fans can enjoy for an extended period. We will keep you informed about our development progress and hope that many of you will join us on this journey towards inZOI's Early Access, and beyond.
