We are two months away from the release of Silent Hill 2 Remake, and with gamescom 2024 approaching, Konami has decided to provide more details about its title. This morning, a new video, known as the Story Trailer, was posted online. It is actually a modernized version of the E3 2001 trailer from that time. Everything that made the game appealing back then is present, but now with the brand new engine used by Bloober Team studio. This should reassure fans of the original game, especially since hands-on previews released this morning indicate that the game appears promising and far from the misconceptions we had about it following initial teasers. You can compare the 2001 trailer to the new one yourself. In any case, the release of Silent Hill 2 Remake is scheduled for October 2024 on PC and PS5.
