In the lineup of Nintendo’s straightforward remasters for the Nintendo Switch, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is set to launch as early as tomorrow. To highlight this release, there is a launch trailer showcasing the updated graphics. While there are no major overhauls, the game receives a visual facelift that looks fresh twenty years later. Additionally, the soundtrack has been enhanced with an exclusive mode allowing players to listen to both the original and rearranged versions of the music, along with viewing various illustrations. In terms of gameplay, Nintendo has also made some adjustments aimed at aiding younger players, including revisions and improvements to the hint system to ensure they always know the next step in their adventure.
The release of Paper Mario: The Great Gate Adventure is anticipated for May 23rd.
