Given our experience with unexpected delays and regular postponements, we are pleased to share that Microids has moved up the release date for Astérix & Obelix: Baffez-les Tous! 2. The game will be available digitally starting November 13th, while physical editions remain set for November 30, 2023. This adjustment allows early access to the latest adventures of our two Gauls in a new 2D format, still developed by Mr Nutz Studio. Regarding updates and changes from the 2021 game, Microids has been relatively silent on specifics. We look forward to seeing more combos, powers, and new levels, as well as an improved pacing and, ideally, a reduction of repetitive gameplay elements like the back-and-forth on the pirate ship. The game is set for release in just a few weeks, and we are excited to explore these developments soon. Additionally, Microids has released a new 2-minute gameplay trailer, which is a rare occurrence from them.
