At Japan Expo 2023, Microids had some exciting news to share about the highly anticipated Goldorak Le Festin des Loups, set for release in November 2023! They unveiled a brand-new gameplay sequence featuring Alcor from the Mazinger series, who takes on the role of Actarus’ trusty sidekick. While Alcor himself isn’t directly playable, players can control his vessel, the OVT. To add some personality to this character and give fans an engaging experience, Microids partnered with studio Enroad to include a classic vertical scrolling shoot ’em up phase. The crisp, clean visuals beautifully match the game’s pastel-colored, cartoonish art style, adding variety and offering players a fresh view of Earth. And for gamers looking for more action, Alcor’s spacecraft has been upgraded with quicker movements and an arsenal of weapons to keep things exciting!
