Intel to Lay Off 24,000 Employees by End of 2025
Intel is making adjustments to its workforce and global operations, with the aim of reducing its employee count from over 109,000 in 2024 to 75,000 by 2025, due in part to investments in new factories that haven’t met demand. This change is a proactive step led by CEO Lisa Spice Tan to correct past mistakes and ensure a more sustainable future for the company.
