This makes it the latest former PlayStation 5 exclusive gacha game to appear on other platforms, following in the footsteps of Genshin Impact and Zenless Zone Zero. The free-to-play game allows players to acquire items to summon new playable characters, with options to use real money to enhance the gacha system. However, all players can complete the main story and experience all characters without spending money. Wuthering Waves will be an Xbox Play Anywhere title available through Game Pass, and subscribers will receive exclusive rewards as they explore the post-apocalyptic world of Solaris-3 as Rover, searching for lost memories and recruiting Resonators.
