SNK has announced end-of-year Steam discounts on Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves and other popular titles, running from December 18 to January 5, 2026 (Steam). The sale ends on January 7, 2026, at 11:59 PM PST for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Xbox Series X|S. The Fatal Fury series, which debuted in 1991, significantly influenced the fighting game boom of the 1990s. Garou: Mark of the Wolves, released in 1999, was the most recent installment until the announcement of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves 26 years later. The new game features a distinctive art style, the innovative REV system, and enhanced battle mechanics. It also introduces two control schemes for both new and experienced players, alongside other new features, set against the backdrop of South Town.
