007: First Light – Delayed to May 27, 2026: Immersive Experience Awaits

IO Interactive has delayed the release of 007: First Light from its originally announced date to May 27, 2026. CEO Hakan Abrak confirmed the new release date in a statement on the game’s social media, explaining that the additional two months will allow the company to deliver the immersive and polished experience promised to James Bond fans. 007: First Light, which features an original story separate from the James Bond films, marks IO Interactive’s first release outside the Hitman universe since Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days in 2010. The game boasts a star-studded cast, including Patrick Gibson (Dexter: New Blood) as a young James Bond in his early MI6 missions, Alastair Mackenzie (Andor) as Q, Priyanga Burford (No Time to Die) as M, and Kiera Lester (Paradise Dead) as Miss Moneypenny. Lennie James (Fear the Walking Dead) will play Bond’s mentor, Noemie Nakai (Tokyo Vice) will portray agent Liss Roth, Gemma Chan (Eternals) will play the new Bond Girl Selina Tan, and Lenny Kravitz will appear as the villain Bawna.
