Bruce Straley, former director of The Last of Us and Uncharted 4 at Naughty Dog, has announced his first project with indie studio Wildflower Interactive: Coven of the Chicken Foot. The game, revealed at The Game Awards 2025, is currently in development for PC. Coven of the Chicken Foot is an adventure, puzzle, and platformer that aims to recapture the fun and simplicity of classic games, sharing more in common with Ico than The Last of Us. This critter’s abilities, motivations, and behaviors evolve based on player actions, creating a unique bond. Wearing hats in the game affects your buddy’s behavior. Wildflower Interactive focuses on innovative controlled ally behavior, allowing for personalized stories shaped by each player’s interaction with their companion.
