Firebreak Horde Mode Delayed, Endless Shift Arrives Soon in Control & Alan Wake Multiplayer

Remedy Entertainment has released a Firebreak update for its multiplayer game set in the worlds of Control and Alan Wake. While cross-platform voice chat has been implemented, the major November update, Rogue Protocol, has been delayed. This update was originally intended to launch with the voice chat feature. The release of Endless Shift, Firebreak’s new horde mode, has also been delayed. In Endless Shift, players will face increasingly difficult waves of enemies in arena settings. Players will earn Corruption after each round, a new currency used to purchase upgrades and enhanced weapons. Exclusive rewards will also be available for playing Endless Shift. Players can anticipate the arrival of horde mode in the near future.
