PlayStation 5 to Feature Ghost of Yōtei Special Edition

Golden Kintsugi PlayStation 5 Limited Edition Inspired by Ghost of Yotei Available in October 2025

Sony has announced a special edition PlayStation 5 console bundle and accessories inspired by the upcoming game, Ghost of Yotei. Sony will release both the game and the themed consoles in October 2025. Two distinct console styles will be available: a Gold Limited Edition and a Black Limited Edition. Both consoles are the standard PS5 Slim model with a disc drive and feature a special creator seal, engraved with PlayStation shapes, on the upper part of their top cover and on the matching DualSense Wireless Controllers. The Gold Limited Edition This edition is adorned with Kintsugi-style art featuring Mount Yotei. Kintsugi is a traditional Japanese process that highlights broken ceramic pieces with gold. The Gold Limited Edition design also incorporates lacquer. The Ghost of Yotei Gold Limited Edition PS5 Console Bundle and its accessories will be available at select retailers worldwide and via PlayStation Direct. Ghost of Yotei Black Limited Edition PS5 & DualSense Controller Bundle – Available October 2025 at PlayStation Direct

Inspired by Sumie art, the Ghost of Yotei Black Limited Edition PS5 Console Bundle and DualSense Wireless Controller will be available exclusively through PlayStation Direct. While the Black DualSense controller will be available in limited quantities, Japan is an exception where consumers can also purchase it. Bundle Contents and Separate Purchases Each limited edition console bundle includes the special edition PS5 console, a matching limited edition DualSense controller, and a voucher for the full Ghost of Yotei game (including pre-order digital content). For those who already own a standard, Slim, or PS5 Pro console, PlayStation Direct will offer special edition console faceplates inspired by the gold artwork for separate purchase. Consumers can also purchase both the Gold and Black versions of the Limited Edition DualSense controllers individually. About the Game Ghost of Yotei, developed by Sucker Punch, releases on both PS5 and PS5 Pro in October 2025.
