2. Game “Risk Trails”: Created by Alex Leal and Gilson Schwartz, this educational RPG focuses on mapping socio-environmental risks with a concentration on climate justice, education, and citizenship. It also features contributions from Raquel Trajber, Cemaden Education, MCTI-Brazil/CNPq.
3. Quilombo Inteligente Mobile App: Proposing a collaboration between SPCine, InvesteSP, Fapesp, BNDES, and AUF, this app, led by the Institute of Iconomy and accelerated at USP’s IEA, explores the power of Quilombola culture through technology and interactive narrative.
4. Democracy Academy & Game “Zona Eleitoral”: A gamified learning platform about citizenship and elections, this combo mixes political education and pedagogical innovation. It includes a game, video channel, and international documentary.
5. Documentary “Democracia, Jeitinho Brasileiro”: Co-directed by Alexander Heffner (Bloomberg/PBS) and Gilson Schwartz, this film examines the uniqueness of Brazilian democracy and its connection to games and new media.
