On Thursday’s Capcom Spotlight, they dug deeper into Pragmata, sharing fresh info on the sci-fi storyline and action-strategy gameplay. It all takes place in a future not too far off where we’ve set up camp on the moon and invented Lunafilium – a material that can nearly replicate anything. But one day, out of nowhere, all contact with our lunar research station dedicated to this Lunafilium was lost. Today’s video introduces us to Hugh Williams, part of the team sent up to find out what happened. When a sudden moonquake hits the facility, Hugh gets separated, injured, and knocks out. That’s when he meets Diana, a unique android made with Lunafilium, who appears as a woman. Since then, they’ve been teaming up to fight off angry robots at the station. Hugh calls her “Diana,” and together they aim to escape the lunar base and return to Earth. The main gameplay in Pragmata will be hacking and shooting, with Diana handling the hacks and Hugh using guns. When you target enemies, a screen panel appears, letting you control Diana’s hacking abilities. By moving your cursor across this panel, she can strip enemy armor and create openings for Hugh to attack weak points with his weapons.
Teamwork’s key in this adventure! Diana, with her off-the-battle hacking skills, gets to access the station’s systems, break through obstacles slowing progress down. At the same time, Hugh uses his suit’s thrusters to navigate the lunar station’s rough terrain. Combining their strengths makes them unstoppable! Pragmata lands in 2026 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
