Nintendo Switch Dominates Japanese Sales & Game Charts with Mario Kart Wheel Leading

From August 18 to August 24, the Nintendo Switch 2 led Japanese hardware sales, with approximately 35,000 units sold in stores. During the same period, nearly 18,000 standard Nintendo Switch consoles and just over 6,000 PlayStation 5 units were sold. Nintendo systems also dominated the physical game sales charts. Mario Kart Wheel led the pack for the week, selling 30,202 copies and bringing its cumulative sales to over 1.6 million.
