One of Focus Entertainment’s biggest successes in recent years, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is a game that has been highly valued by both the publisher and developer Saber Interactive. This is reflected in the release of a new update named “Tyron,” after a new boss character. The Tyron update is the most significant since the game’s launch in September 2024, featuring planned additions such as a new free mission for the JcE “Operations” mode, a new weapon, two cosmetic DLCs for Season Pass holders, and various improvements. Notably, this DLC introduces Trygon, which players must defeat amidst the sandstorms of Avarax in the game’s ninth JcE mission. This update also marks the introduction of a new Imperial arsenal weapon: the Inferno Pistol.
This update, named “Tyron,” includes several additions to Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 since its release in September 2024. These additions include balance changes, customization options, and progression for the “Operations” mode. Among these developments are the introduction of Prestige Ranks, a revamp of weapon attributes, the ability to change fabric colors, and the addition of private PvP lobbies allowing up to 12 players to engage in fully customizable War Eternal matches. Additionally, owners of the Season Pass can access two extra DLCs: the Space Wolves Chapter Pack and the Imperial Fists Champion. The first DLC introduces a Champion for the Avant-Garde class, three weapon appearances (Chainsword, Bolter Rifle, and Thunder Hammer), and over 50 cosmetics celebrating the 12 Great Companies of Space Wolves. The second DLC includes a Champion for the Tactical class and a Plasma Incinerator appearance in the colors of Rogal Dorn’s sons. Here are some images to whet your appetite.
