Battlefield 6 Beta – New Gameplay Adjustments, Class Evolutions, and Domination Revamp

EA and DICE have announced significant gameplay adjustments, inspired by their Battlefield Labs program, ahead of the open betas on August 9-10 and August 14-17. A key update allows players to choose between locked weapons for each class or an entirely free arsenal. Both options will be available during the beta, with a special Conquest rotation for the locked weapon mode and full XP rewards. Developers have also fine-tuned damage balancing, simplified weapon customization, and introduced iconic weapons with exclusive bonuses tied to their intended classes. Further refinements include improved map movement flow, repositioned objectives, reinforced cover spots, and re-situated turrets. Engineers remain crucial against vehicles but are undergoing fine-tuning for balance. Support receives optimized supply crates and iconic weapons. EClairer enhances its infiltration-sabotage capabilities by adding Special Forces training, a covert recon drone, and auto-target designation through scopes.
