There are only a few weeks left until the highly anticipated and controversial release of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and Ubisoft is releasing multiple versions of their game. Today, we’re discussing over 20 minutes of gameplay with commentary from an Ubisoft team member, focusing on highlighting the differences between Yasuke and Naoe, the two main characters in the game. Yasuke is a formidable figure who moves somewhat clumsily but can take hits exceptionally well, easily defeating his enemies. Initially appearing delicate, Naoe seems less powerful compared to her samurai counterpart, yet she possesses remarkable agility and speed, making her more nimble and flexible in combat. Players have the freedom to switch between the two characters at will; however, during a scripted mission, they must stick with the previously chosen character.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is scheduled for release on March 20th, with the review embargo lifting on March 18th, and we have already received the game.
